Photos from Ro-Sham and the demo

Here are a couple photos from the Ro-Sham event. As well as one from yesterdays demo. The wind came up late in the day and lots of people got out and got a chance to ride some new Best gear. Thanks to Dmitry Kraskovsky for shooting at the Ro-Sham and Jim Stringfellow for shooting at the Demo.

Finals Day Ro-Sham Throw Down

Today was the last day of the 2011 Ro-Sham Throw Down. The entire event was really fun and had a ton of great riders. The Slider Project did a great job hosting and putting together the event. Yesterday we had the first three semi-finals, and unfortunately I didn’t make it through to the finals, but I had a great session all the same and was riding really well. The finals round today was made up of 8 riders, and they got to ride for 30 minutes, the wind ended up backing off half way through but the judges still found the winner. The results are below. Congrats the everyone who placed. Stoked to come back next year, pictures coming soon.

Ro-Sham Throw Down Day 1

Im out here in the gorge for the Ro-Sham Throw Down. All the guys are out here including some of the Best Team. We got in Monday, and have been busy setting up the Best hand rail. The thing is gonna be sick for sure. Today we had the first qualifying round, with most the features out on the water. There were 8 guys in my heat today and another 10 tomorrow.  Between today’s and tomorrow’s heats 8 people have a chance to advance. I think I rode pretty well, we will see how it turns out.

Last Day of Triple S

The last two days have been pretty crazy. Lots of riding for sure. Yesterday we were at the beach all day riding the waves, and then when we got back to real a few of us had a really lit wakestyle session in the slick. Today had a late start but then was freestyle all afternoon, and then park runs on all the features later in the day. I had a lot of fun. Stoked for next year! Now were off the the awards and closing party. Check out yesterdays session report.

Triple S Day 5

The Triple S has wind! Yesterday we had an awesome session up in the real slick, with all the features set up. All the riders were riding really well and throwing some really sick stuff on the rails and kickers. I had a lot of fun trying some new things on the kicker, and landed a really nice Shifty 5. Today we will head to the surf around noon and try to get a bit of wave riding in. Should be fun. Another dock session later! Looks like more wind tomorrow too!

First Day at the Triple S

The 2011 Triple S Innovational started yesterday, and all the riders have gotten into town. The wind was really light so we set up some of the rails outside and inside the boat basin. Got a few hits on the John Wayne with my Profanity and my new Ronix Reliks. Really stoked on this new set up. Had some nice hits, just breaking the rust off. It’s going to be a sick week, and the wind looks better as the week progresses. We all had a good time at the opening party, and rider signing last night. More pictures and video to come!

Shooting with Best in Hatteras

The last couple weeks out in Hatteras have been really nice, and I’ve gotten to ride a lot. The last week the Best team and I have been shooting and riding the new 2012 gear. The kites are really solid, and the boards are the best we’ve made with some really sick graphics. Stoked for the new season. Also been getting ready to ride in the Triple S starting Saturday. It’s lining up to be a lot of fun with some great riders pushing the sport. Pictures to come soon, check back later in the week.
